HP Elite X3 Phablet leaked before Release - An excellent Windows10 Mobile in Making

Latest leaked news is surprisingly not coming a regular smartphone manufacturer, but from a leading Laptop and Hardware Manufacturer and has really delighted us. 

The HP’s Elite X3 phablet running Windows 10 Mobile just got leaked.  The team at Tech2 has just posted some pictures of the device, as well as the specification sheet. It's an preview to what's in store for us at the MWC. 

According to the leak, the following are the specifications of the phone:

  • 5.96-inch QuadHD display
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Quad-Core SoC
  • 4 GB RAM
  • 32GB storage, microSD expansion up to 200 GB
  • USB 3.0 Type-C (USB-C)
  • Qi wireless charging
  • Iris Scanner (Windows Hello)
  • Fingerprint reader
  • Continuum support
  • 16-megapixel camera on the back
  • 8-megapixel front camera
  • Windows 10 Mobile
  • IP67 dust and water resistance
  • STD810 military MIL-rating (for 1-foot drop protection)
  • 7.8 mm thick
  • Docking connector
The device is to be believed to host an Iris Scanner, as well as a fingerprint scanner for Windows Hello, which is pretty exciting.  The handset will mere be 7.8 mm thick and it will have a USB 3.0 Type-C (C-USB) port for Continuum support.
