What's Microsoft really trying to do? A quick sneek-peek at the future

Recently, Microsoft launched two new flagship phones, Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL. It's a pretty decent start towards what they want to achieve, their aim being to ensure that Windows 10 is in every pocket and every hand. Even though it is quite something you wouldn't agree upon, but Microsoft is working towards this very ideology believing that it is the key towards conquering the world again.

What they are aiming for is perhaps something extraordinary, just imagine for a second that everything, from your laptop to smartphone, computers to raspberry pi, teaching boards to your lens, runs on Windows 10. Yes, they are literally planning to be on every device you have with the same operating system everywhere, and believe me that is just one of their agenda.

Looking at the new smartphones, which have the capability to transform a into a computer itself. It is a totally different idea that none other brand can offer. The continuum feature is what enables us to do this very smoothly. Think for a second, that now you wouldn't require a full PC at work, you just need a smartphone which has the potential to work like your PC. Brilliant! Isn't it?

Also, one of their future prospects which is still in development stage, the HoloLens is going to be the next big thing, trust me on this one. Just think that soon, product designers will be able to get up close and personal with their creations while they're still planning them! Rather than just look at digital models on their computer screens, they could walk around a 3-D hologram of the design.

But if you still aren't convinced of Microsoft's future capabilities? Let me introduce you to their all new Surface hub. It allows one to connect for a business meeting or a teacher with their students. Even if one is sitting in some other corner of the planet, working simply on Skype. It is changing the way we will do business potentially unlocking the power of the group; a powerful team collaboration device designed to advance the way people work together naturally.

Surface Pro 4 and Microsoft Band 2, both are performance driven devices that enhance your potential. They let you work more freely and give you an extra edge at work. Even the Microsoft Office 365 enables one to work on any of device, and it doesn't matter if it is a smartphone or a friends PC, so business has never been so easy I guess. Plus if you have an Outlook mail account synced on all those devices, then you even have all your data on those devices, thanks to cloud computing through OneDrive. Just imagine all these devices working together with, the powerful, the most personal, computer assistant ever, Cortana. She knows just so much about me.

You might just get a little gist at what they are actually trying to do. But let me tell you, looking at long term, no company will even come close to what they will probably achieve. They are all about productivity, not just mere social status. For example, Apple, they don't want to see their iPhone in every Tom, Dick and Harry's hand. Contradicting Microsoft, as they are aiming to provide their services not only to everyone but also empower and change their lives with it.
