Lumia 950/950 XL launching in India by December, Surface Pro 4 coming in January 2016

It looks like the latest Microsoft Flagships will miss Diwali season in India, as the news is coming from the Future Unleashed 2015 event in Mumbai, where Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, announced that Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL will launch in India in next couple of months. Both smartphones were announced at Windows 10 devices event at NYC last month and are yet to hit markets, although the pre-orders has started in some regions or online. As noted the same month, the Microsoft Lumia 550 budget Windows 10 Mobile smartphone was also launched alongside, but only due in launch markets in December. However, there is no news about the Lumia 550's release date in India.

Alongside, the smartphone announcement He said that the company’s latest Surface Pro 2 in 1 – the Surface Pro 4 will launch in India early January 2016.

“One thing we are excited about is what app developers can do. One such developer, StaffPad, has changed the way music is composed. A R Rahman is a big user of StaffPad,” says Satya Nadella.
“People of India have a tremendous opportunity ahead and we want to play a small part so that they can achieve their potential,” he says.
