Microsoft has released a new build for mobile insiders on the Fast Ring, Build 10536. The build was expected to be released last Friday but a last hour bug stopped Gabe to push the red button. According to Gabe, the bug could have stopped insiders to install any new build on top of that and hence, made the team workout more to squash it before being to released to Insiders. Now, it seems the bug has been fixed and you will now be able to get the build through phone update.

Build 10536 brings a lot of improvements and some new features from the previous build, like the one-handed mode for all devices, mobile hotspot now works again, single hop updates from WP 8.1 to Insider Preview for all devices, feedback app is back and more. (Tell me more about the improvements)

Insiders updating from Build 10512 will need to update their devices twice.

Insiders updating from Build 10512 will need to update their devices twice. You will see Build 10514 and Build 10536.1000. Run these updates. After these updates are installed, you’ll receive another update which will be Build 10536.1004. This process will take a bit more time than usual but this update has all the important fixes for Build 10536 so you will want to make sure you take BOTH updates. If you don’t have a problem going back to Windows Phone 8.1, you can update directly to this build (10536.1004).

If you are running the latest insider build, there is nothing you need to do. Just head to settings>update and security>phone update and check for updates to get the latest build.

However, if you are keen to install preview builds on your Windows Phone 8.1 handset, read this tutorial here.
