We may automatically check your version of the software and download software update or configuration changes, including those that prevent you from accessing the Services, playing counterfeit games, or using unauthorised hardware peripheral devices.
Above you can see an excerpt from the Microsoft's updated EULA (End User Licence Agreement) terms and conditions that has left many Windows 10 users worried. Many of you would be wondering what that text really means and how is it going to affect or alter anything from your PC.

Has Microsoft breached our privacy?
Well, the updated terms and conditions clearly state that Microsoft now has the power to update your system without you knowing it, and also check for any illegal software or game. If found, they have the power to 'configure changes', henceforth removing it permanently from the PC. Also, a user might not even know when the update will take place and Microsoft has denied users the choice to say no to an update.

In short it means that Microsoft can now disable counterfeit games and unauthorised hardware with Windows 10 which implies pirated games or software are strictly prohibited. This latest development raises the terrifying prospect that Microsoft could actually step in to prevent us doing anything it disagrees with.

Many users have raised their concerns and expressed disappointment, also questioning Microsoft whether they have the right to invade one's privacy and search in their hard drives with a secret deletion tool that is hidden deep inside the recently-released operating system.
