Microsoft keeps adding new intuitive things or Cortana to make it more engaging and interactive for the users. The latest one would let people view the trending news and stories for the Windows Mobile 8.1.
This feature went live last weekend but not many people are aware about this. Cortana is also showing local stories based on the current location of the user.
Again, this is a server-side update and does not require any new firmware download for Windows Phone 8.1.
