While the official WhatsApp
app users on Windows Phone might still be waiting for the calling feature, the
WhatsApp Beta app has been updated once again. With this update, the app brings
some fresh new features and changes which will eventually get to the main
application soon.
With the last update which brought to us the calling
feature, (Read here: WhatsApp Calling Coming Soon ), this new update brings the ability to delete calls from
the call list. Now, you can delete the
calls you have made to your girlfriends.
The last update came with a call history
list, but there wasn't any option to delete all or a few of them but with the
latest update to Windows Beta program, it allows you to delete the calls you
have made or received.
Which comes along with it is - the ability to display in-app
notifications. Earlier, WhatsApp could only highlight the messages you had
missed, but with the latest update, you can now see a counter for both, calls as well as messages.
There is one more minor change to the app, particularly
based on the feedback of the Beta Testers. The call button in the menu option
has been moved from fourth to third position.
People who are not registered as beta tester have a reason
to be happy, as all these features will eventually land up to the main
application once the final product is ready.
