Microsoft has recently launched branded online store in partnership with Snapdeal. Snapdeal is one of the largest ecommerce site in India. The store features all the Microsoft products ranging from phones , tablets and laptops to softwares. And as an added benefit it only showcases authorised sellers by Microsoft.
“We are pleased to be partnering with Microsoft in opening their online store on Snapdeal. This unique, self-contained store built by Snapdeal will allow users accessibility of Microsoft’s unified portfolio of phones, tablets, PCs and software,” Snapdeal Senior Vice President, Electronics and Home Tony Navin said in a statement.

The store has been customised to offer an integrated Windows customer experience, the statement added.

The store enables Microsoft to manage product selection, promotions and launches as per need and basis the analytics shared by Snapdeal, it added.

“Increasingly consumers are going online to shop…mobiles, devices, software and accessories. We therefore see tremendous opportunity in delivering Microsoft products and services through our online store…,” Microsoft India Group OEM Director Sharlin Thayil said.

Microsoft has launched a similar kind of store on Amazon too. But this is different as Snapdeal's store houses products from Authorised sellers unlike Amazon one which houses products directly from Microsoft.  After the launch of store on Amazon Microsoft has offered some exclusive discounts and products. We have not yet seen such kinds of promotion in Snapdeal's case May be we might be able to see some hing exclusive from this new store.
