Phone Insider app is renamed to Windows Insider

10:30 AM
A few weeks ago Phone Insider app has showed up in the store. Recently Microsoft showcased windows for phones at their Windows 10 event. And also announced first preview builds will be on their way to Insiders by February. Seems like Microsoft team is doing some last minute tweaks to the Insider app. The phone insider app has been updated recently and its name is changed to Windows Insider which coincides with desktop preview.

Although the app was around from weeks we are not able to login. Because it only had domain account option to signin. With this update we will be able to login as they added Microsoft account option.

Users can now login to the insider app successfully. Being able to login to app doesn't mean that you will be able to download Windows 10 instantly. To be able to download you must first be a part of insider program. You need to signup for that. Which reminds of the apps discription.
"The Windows Insider application provides registered Insiders the ability to receive pre-release OS updates on their phone, directly from Microsoft. For more information about registering and becoming a Windows Insider visit http://insider.windows.com."
As you see as of now there are now builds available to download.

If you want to download the Windows Insider app you can download it now. As always we will keep you updated be sure to check back.
